shove knife or a butter knife. you will most likely damage the casing doing this

if you used a poorly made hand cut key with really big peaks it might, or you will just wreck the lock more.

have you tried adding graphite and a pick?

haven't tried anything yet...

am just a little...lets say "cautious" before I want to attempt anything....

but my bump key is hand cut

Hey,

I'm starting out in the whole lock picking world, but I can manage to pick quite a few locks given a few minutes and little pressure.

I recently worked on a padlock and it seemed successful, the tumbler started turning like it should, but it would turn pretty far, to the point where you'd expect it to snap open....but the bastard wouldn't unlock.

What do you think the deal is? Lock busted? or is there some aspect I'm missing here?

I had my #3 masterlock down pat...now I cant pick it worth shit and its the same tension...My #5 wont budge no matter how light the tension or medium. its like RARWRRARWRARWR -throws lock- xD
