Out in the field again and spent a short amount of time poking around something that barely qualifies as UE and is really more of a trip to a museum at this point.

Follow the yellow brick road to the entrance gate to Planet Ranch and look right (switch to 'aerial' using the doohickey to the left, but you really can't see shit, sorry. Gmaps' data is even worse).

Two bedrooms, a foyer, a dining room, and a kitchen that would all fit inside just one of my living rooms.

This must have been a neat little place when it was built, though, with a great patio looking toward the Bill Williams river in the distance and a curved arch leading into the dining room.

Nearby are two other structures, one a big adobe ruin that probably housed a lot of people and the other a rock pile that might have been storage or something. I'm thinking these were unrelated to the nearby ranch but rather were for all the mine shafts and addits that have turned this area into swiss cheese.

On the way back, about 8 miles from here, I spotted a big mining operation in the distance that could very well be abandoned, so I'll be back.

This spot is called Planet Mine, I just found out, and is only about 10 miles from Swansea, a larger ghost town.

Excellent work again!

An armed society, is a polite society. So lets get to it!
