I am currently looking to buy an electronic drum set.. Anybody know where I can get a good deal? (An example of what I want) http://www.axemusi...P_ID=5041&PT_ID=86
Anybody have any experience with these or what the best deal is? Let me know.
(Maybe I should post this into the UE Buy/Sell/Swap Board)

don't know if you can head down to Toronto for a day or something, but you might check out a shop there on Yonge street called "Just Drums". last time I was in there they had four or five kits, ranging from cheap to pricey.

I am willing to pay up to about $5000 or so for a nice kit... maybe I will head up there and check some out

If you're willing to spend up to 5 grand on a set, that would probably be your best bet because buying a set brand new guarantees you that everything is working fine and that you aren't missing anything. Top it off you would be able to try out a few of the different models. Compare prices from different stores (stores you can actually go to) and see if the same models are priced the same.. compare the price of the rolands at just drums to the price of them at steve's music store. you would be surprised that on occasion they is a several hundred dollar difference. Another thing to think about is, check the specs of the drum kits and compare them with different brands.

I haven't got a set yet. Every time around Christmas, I keep an eye out. So if anyone knows any deals, keep me updated!
