Hearing about this makes me feel horribly ill, and I'm serious. In the past month or so I have lost my Grandfather to heart failure, a co-worker to cancer, and a little over two weeks ago a younger uncle to suicide. I had never talked to Seth, but hearing about his death really makes my heart ache again. So many people leave us well before their time, and no matter how hard you try to go back to normality it's impossible. My very, very sincere condolences to his family.

And I know what even the cheapest funerals cost now. To cremate my uncle and bury him cost $8,000. Hopefully the few dollars I donated to help with the funeral will help.

To his family, you take care of each other now, because this is going to be extremely hard on all of you.

-Chris

very glad i got the chance to meet and explore with seth. he took his time to show me around places he'd probably been a hundred times.
thanks for the great memories of walking up falling down stairs to the penthouse in gary, ripping my pants on barbed wire in chicago and for leading us through the tunnels in south bend. you seemed fearless, interestingly detached, incredibly knowledgable and i learned by watching you to stay out of the way when someone's trying to take a photo. i really enjoyed knowing you the little bit i did. i, as it seems many other are, am enjoying a 40 at the moment in your found memory. robots.

I'd only talked to Seth once or twice online, but im terribly sorry to hear about this. He seemed like such a nice guy. Fucking getting really sick of people dying lately, but at least Seth died doing what he truely loved. RIP man, You will be missed by the many people you touched. My condolences to his girl, family and close friends.

There is no loss sadder or more difficult to understand than the loss of someone so young.

To Seth's loved ones and friends please know that you are in my thoughts and hope that you will be blessed with healing and comfort in time knowing that Seth's young life has passed from your sight but not from your hearts.

I'm collecting pictures of Seth to put onto my tribute/memorial site. If you can email me all the pictures you have of him along with your name and email address (in case his family wants to contact you) please do so at nicolerork@gmail.com

Also, if you have some memories you'd like to share, email that as well.

I'd yank all the pictures and stories from the forums, but I'd rather ask permission and have you personally send them. Thanks for your help!

PS: I also have the "flowers" photo available on his memorial site. No specific amount is required, ALL proceeds will go to his family. Printing, shipping and PayPal costs will be covered by me.

Nothing can prepare you for tragedy. It's impossible to make sense of it. You will be changed by this. Just try to remember the good times you had and the things you loved about him. We will all go eventually, it's part of life. Enjoy the time you have!

I was watching trains today, on multiple tracks a lot can be happening at once. Very easy to trip, and the rails are hard as well, steel. High speed trains can easily sneak up on you, and on concrete ties are very quiet. Nothing really is safe as safety is relative to incidents per activity; people die in their sleep.

I had a buck charge by me in full stride as I walked to the tracks and pass me three feet or so to my side. Run other over by a deer, who believe that? Shit happens, sometimes the person didn't do anything wrong, or even make a mistake. It was just simple the fact the we're alive; we're all an accident waiting to happen.

He left the best way possible; fast, doing something he loved to do.

The track this all happened on is single track territory, it has wooden ties and the crossings are one right after each other just about through there so the horn is constantly being sounded.

i've had trains sneak up on me on the Bridgeline that runs through Port Henry... in the cliffs you can't hear them coming and them POW! there they are bearing down on you at 50+mph!!!

why is it all the good ones get iced and the assholes live forever?
