http://www.rte.ie/.../0816/terror1.html A 12-year-old boy managed to evade 'critical' level airport security by sneaking on a flight without any passport or documentation. The youngster, who had run away from a care home in Birkenhead, Merseyside, boarded a plane at Gatwick Airport bound for Lisbon at 6am yesterday. Despite airport security being on red-alert following the alleged terrorist plot to bomb planes, he managed to get through airport security, get on the plane and was settling down with a drink and a snack when a member of the Monarch Airlines crew realised something was amiss. (Continued...) http://www.rte.ie/.../0816/terror1.html Moral of the story: if you are stowing away on an international flight, bring a fake passport/documents sufficiently genuine-looking so you don't overtly draw attention. Still, this kid is a total badass.

It has surprised me how little security there really is at airports. A single person can easily slip in and out of most airports. Good post thanks for the read.
