You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say CAN and WILL (not maybe) be used against you in a court of law.

Anything you say that reflects positively on you is assumed a lie, anything you say damaging to yourself is the truth. So don't say anything.

Ya because all what you say gets written down on this bond advisory paper when you get checked in. A judge reads this at your preliminary hearing to decide if Officer had legal cause to do what he did to arrest/stop you.

A police officer is not there to help when he stops you. A prosecutor is not there to defend you...he is there to put the maximum amount of charges he can get to stick...If he does not have enough evidence to win in his mind, he will drop it as he always wants to win.

Note: At preliminary hearings YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO A ATTORNEY! Since you have not been formally charged you are just arrested.

If you know how to read body language and mannerisms, etc...

Do what the cop does to you. Evaluate his demeanor and attitude, then go from there. Knowing most of the cops in my town has major advantages. I can tell if they are going to be hard-assed or laid back. My evaluation will help me determine the attitude I will take.

CAUTION: Do this at your own risk. It isn't foolproof, but it helps a ton!

Behind every mistake, there is a lesson.

I'm just not that great at learning them!
