Skaggs Island

| I stopped over at Skaggs Island and finally explored some of it. It is extended and covers a rather large area so next time i'm bringing a bike or my bolt cutters to drive in. Sonoma Co Sheriff and probably CHP drive to the 1st gate regularly so avoid them to not get harassed or possibly arrested. The area is available for hunting (no guns though see picture) at times so i'm not really sure what is "off limits" I never saw a single no trespassing sign but I don't read those anyway. The defunct guard house at the main gate over the bridge is defunct and now a little more so due to some guys pyrotechnics--if you don't want to take it blow it up! Access is simple walk to the gate and look around to see what I mean. There are many buildings and structures there to see, i'm taking my ropes next time I just decided for rappeling off the big buildings. If you can't steal it or blow it up then at least jump off of it. I can't upload at this computer so I will post the pics when I get to mine. Its definitely worth a look whatever your motives may be. Maybe once I finish my mortar i'll practice out there, there ain't nobody to complain about it that's for sure.

how tall are some of the buildings, i've been thinking about doing the side of a 9story building in oakland..
