Infiltration

My brother, a couple of friends, and I made an attempt at exploring our school this evening... Although, we quickly ran into a problem, the security guard wasn't to happy about us driving through the parking lot at 10:30 at night.

We pulled into the parking lot and after we were in there we shut off our lights so that cars on the road wouldn't be suspicious of a single car driving through the parking lot late at night. The problem was that the security guard was suspicious of us, and he let us know really quickly by shining a flashlight into the car. We weren't too willing to get the cops called on us so we left rather quickly.

We weren't satisfied with a failed attempt, so we made our way down the road to a grocery store. We weren't planning on exploring the store itself, seeing as how it is open 24 hours and a couple of the people there work at the store... Although, we were planning on exploring the storm drains on the side of the store. We crawled into a drain that was 3 ft. in diameter, we were hoping that it would get wider fairly soon. But after we made it about ¹/₂ mile, we all had to be home before soon, and there was still no sight of it growing larger we made the decision to turn around and head back.

We have made plans for a later exploration though. 3 out of 4 of us are going to go pick up some Camelback's tomorrow morning and head back out to the drain with those and some old skateboard's added to our supplies. I am planning on picking up a few Mag Light's as well. My brother and I had some "heavy duty" flashlights but after them being shaken up and down from a little crawling they both broke...

You can expect picture's and a story tomorrow by about mid-evening... The drain exploration probably won't last that long, but there is also an abandoned house around here that has a nice little history behind it, hopefully the history is just a story.
