Canadian Pacific Has just finished it's first of 25 projects (160 mil$) in poco, (port coquitlam) BC. This project was a 2.5 km track in the poco yard just across the pitt river from the intermodal yard. It will help facilitate train staging, allowing (when all 25 projects are completed) another 4 trains per day or 400 cars, (800, 40ft containers)from calgary.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! | |
25 projects? What might these other projects contain do you know? CPR spending money... I'm not too amazed. They seem to be doing pretty good these days. CN spending money I would be amazed with.

They are doing the grinding and regular track maintenence here in Belleville for all of June. Ripping out the hi-rail ties at level crossings and replacing them with the rubber HiRal stuff.

CPR is doing really well this year. I went over the annual review for last year and it mentioned the upgrading of the track in the west. Believe it or not CN, stocks are actually more then that of CPR so thats got to mean something. But yah, I believe CPR is suppost to be overhauling most of there engines.
