Posted by A. Lien And YW. ca? hey that could work for ya? (Were all good Christians on this thread, I mean, except K.K. of course!) And if anyone believes that, I have some good cheap marshland for sale. Well, I'm glad it was only water, and not, say PEA SOUP!, that you were ingesting, when you cleaned your screen. I wonder where poor little abused (rich and famous) Linda Blair is today?

I'll take the land, but it better be complete with rodents of unusual size. You can come for tea on Sundays.

Last night, amidst the moonlight. The intrepid Garden City Gardeners; A. Lien, Tanuki, KublaKhan and JPeterman, accompanied by special guests dsankt and Team Leader set foot into a tunnel conduit deep beneath the city of Victoria. This conduit is burrowed through solid bedrock. The existence of this conduit proves that that there could be even more tunnels blasted straight through bedrock elsewhere in this city. This is not the end of a search, but the beginning of one. This excursion was planned down to the last detail. We required equipment to test the atmosphere for any dangerous gases or the lack of oxygen (see on my belt-strap). I just want to let all those who were involved know. It was an honour, an absolute honour to have you all on this expedition. kudos team. Tunnels do exist under the Garden City. We've "known" that all along.
Now..... we know for sure.

Uhmm... wow great work! Looks amazing! How long was did the tunnel travel? And what is concrete structure beside you? was there utilities and such down there? again great work B

Nice, these are now giving hope to those of us that have just been bystanders. Thank you for sharing what a very competent team has discovered.....very very cool by the way. Nobody Salutes You.

Top darts fellas, superb work all around. Some surprising discoveries were made and all your hard work payed off. I was stoked to have the honor of tagging along and the credits belong to those who dedicated hours to rifling through old maps and digging through archives. Sewerfreshness! Bring on the rock-blasted revolution!

An absolutely fantastic experience. Naysayers...you've been foiled. Tunnels blasted through solid bedrock DO indeed exist under the garden city. And we were in them. (someone alert Jester) Thanks to the team. Thanks also to our guests. [EDIT: thanks also to the 3 1/2 year old boy who advised me to 'watch out for tigers, Daddy.' Good advice. Thanks, son.]

The overall length, Tanuki put at about just over 3kms all together. The concrete structure is a retaining wall we encountered at one section. Not sure of its purpose. There was some out of use light-fixtures as you can see in the last photo. Strange hmm.

I THOUGHT I saw a Delorian on Johnson last night... Edit: Cool. Thanks Peterman. I don't know where exactly you were, but maybe for foundation or when they filled in the old passage ways for the sidewalks? How far down were you? Did you find any thing exciting? Any old money, or dead bodies? Haha. I guess you weren't down there long, with no gas detector.

Naw, look at my hip in the photo, thats the gas detector on my hip. Atmosphere was borderline alright. Kind of dank down there. Nope, no money or dead bodies. A dead rat though! True story.

Ohhhh. I thought you needed a different one not just for oxygen. My bad. How far did you guys walk along it?
PS - Its not as exciting now that the mystery has been solved. Haha. Is anyone going to 'alert the media', unless you think they already know and this is a big conspiracy, like I do?

Are you kidding?

Hahahaha No. We know they exist, where they are, how to get into them. Its like with the other tunnels you've seen... you get bored of them, etc. Ahh shit. I gotta go - I'll be late for work.
