The man is just taking precautions....damn!
Blessed be the pessimist, for he packs extra ammo. I can't go to work today. The voices told me to stay home and clean the guns, the penguins are coming. The way to a man's heart is with a broadsword. |

Yeh, right on, I got a nice batters helmet i never use......
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

Hey that's my uncle Elmo! He's just being sensible, and shielding his big brain from EMI. Normally he wears grounded mesh specs for his eyes, but he wanted to look handsome for the pic.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

You know it's bad when the other hams behind him are laughing at him too!

You know, MIT did a study, and proved that wearing tinfoil amplifies brain waves, so someone else can pick them up. I don't remember the link though, I'll look for it.

They're lackies to the machine. They didn't ground their tin foil shields in those tests, and deliberately skewed the results. Wise indeed is the great, grounded Uncle Elmo.

Mm, I've still got a couple of nice RF burns from touching the coils when tweaking tower units on full power - wonder what that'll amount to. There was a great article in Harpers last month about a massive ham in the states - anyone read it?
The universe may be as grand as they say but it wouldn't be missed if it didn't exist. |
