| Ed and I just got back from a trip up to Ottawa, Canada, to look for a place to live. We're going to be moving up there mid-march. We found a nice little apartment downtown, and everything will be ready next month.
It was cool to see my friends again, back in the great white north. It'll be nice being back in familiar territory, and not living in fear of being shot in the face by stray gunfire and attacked by crackheads while I'm getting my mail from the mailbox. I never leave this apartment. It will be nice to finally be able to take a walk outside if I feel like it.
Plus we're getting a cat and I'm sooo excited about that  it'll definately be a Humane Society kitty, since they need homes the most. I miss having kitties around me - we haven't been able to have one here since we would have to have it quarentined for traveling up to Canada, etc.
The rats are always good to travel with though. They aren't an issue at the border for some reason, and they mostly just sleep the whole way there. They're like babies, they fall asleep as soon as the car starts.
I can't wait to move!
