I can fully say beyond a shadow of a doubt that any police or military dog is trained not to eat shit. People figured out that would be a issue pretty quickly.

Posted by HAMMERTIME Red pepper, black pepper, chilli pepper, (who knows maybe even Dr. Pepper), should work and can be found in grocery stores or you can carry a pocket full of McDonald's pepper packets. You can't be charged for carrying pepper like you can for mace in some areas. Besides, I don't think I would want to slush around in the grass with a lump of Lion shit in my pocket - the smell might give you away. I imagine if you told the zoo that you are trying to stop hunters and their dogs from killing the cute rabbits, the animal loving zoo employees may give you the lion shit for free. HAMMER

No. What you could do is buy an ornamental black pepper plant, extract and concentrate the capsaicin and try to make your own version of oleoresin capsicum, but I dont know if it would throw dogs off of your track. The fox urine sounds like an awesome idea. Maybe bear urine?
