So which Star Trek flick is your favorite? For me, it's a tie between First Contact and VI.

Wrath of Khan. Second is a tie between Voyage Home and Undiscovered Country.

Gotta go with Kahn. Mr. Rouke as a bad guy and James T's overacting abiltity together. FANTASTIC!!!
Wishing I was Jack Dalton just to have all the cool leftovers... | |
No, Kirk... I've done far worse than kill you... I've hurt you. And I wish to go on... hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her... marooned in the center of a dead planet, buried alive.... buried alive... www.khaaan.com

Come on, Wrath of Khan was the best followed closely by The Search For Spock. The only thing I did not like was the fact that they replaced Kirstie Alley with Robin Curtis who was not NEAR AS HOT as the young Kirstie. Also, was it me, or was the captain of the Grissom a real weenie in III? What a wuss.
For Trek movies (in order of preference): Wrath Of Khan Search For Spock Voyage Home Undiscovered Country Motion Picture Final Frontier TNG movies (in order of preference): Generations First Contact Insurrection Nemesis Samurai

Of course Wrath of Khan is the best, no contest there. I really enjoyed The Voyage Home in that goofy, hippy loving way, but all of the original cast movies were decent except The Motion Picture and Final Frontier which both sucked major ass, because they went looking for god and found nothing more than a crusty old space probe named V'ger and whatever the fuck that alien entity was beyond the great rift, with the latter being the most ass sucking movie ending ever written. I guess out of the TNG cast movies, I liked First Contact, but why the fuck did the Vulcans speak english? That always pissed me off, there was no universal translator, no babel fish in their ears. I can let the sound in space issue go, the fact that Worf's space suit should have vacumed out in seconds as well, but first contact with an extraterrestial and they speak English and not one of those humans in Montana say a word about that? That's just stupid. Oh well, I geeked out enough there. Asylunt

First Contact by far. "They invade our space, and we fall back. They assimilate whole species and we do nothing at all. The line must be drawn HERE! This far, NO FURTHER! And I....will make them PAY for what they have done!!!" -Octane

The line should be, they assimilate whole species and we fall back.....

I don't know, I felt that was a really far stretch for Picard's character. I understand becoming Lacutis of Borg can change a man, but Picard was never one to go that far on irrational emotion. It was at least a stretch of character. My favorite line, "Rumors of my assimilation have been greatly exagerated." But then again I'm a big Twain fan. Asylunt

slightly off-topic, but still in the science fiction realm, best line by far was from Alien4: Aren't you dead? Ripley> Yeah, I get that alot.
Best Star Trek TNG line: (from the first meeting with Q, I think-when they are done up like Robin Hood) Worf> Sir, I must protest! I am not a merry man!" That coming from a Klingon was a riot! Best TOS line: Damnit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a moonshuttle conductor! OR "He's dead, Jim."
