Hey all, just wanted to toss this post up here in chance anyone would know of some good spots for photos in the Cincinnati area, I’ve gotten some pretty good photos out at the abandoned forest fair mall, but other than that I am not really sure what other locations would be good for photography in terms of abandoned buildings

This might be helpful to you as it was to me: https://www.uer.ca...d=1&threadid=83700 My best beginning pieces of advice would be drive around, scour the internet and satellite maps, and then also try to get to know anyone in your area and get their trust. Perhaps they'll have suggestions and if you're lucky may even go with you sometime. It'll all come with time, and no one here will really tell you on a public forum but some will with personal messages with other explorers. In general, I recommend reading the FAQ and forum rules and stuff. I wish I could get into big cities more often like the one you live in, so exploring is a little tough for me but I try to do my best. Hope this helps and good luck!

Another piece of advice that I came across on this site that has proven very valuable: follow train tracks and follow rivers. In satellite view on Google Maps, you will often see that industrialization and infrastructure in cities (some of the coolest items to photograph, in my opinion) correlate with both of these features. If safe, you can even take a walk down the tracks...nothing like getting a first person view Good luck! Keep us updated.
