This is probably a dumb question, but I am trying to post photos here for the first time. I have tried uploading a few and I am forced to shrink them down into a grainy image in order to work on the post, and I am wondering if there is a way to keep the full res whilst posting. I have seen others using Flickr, but I'd like to keep it on this site. I tried to shrink it down using photoshop and the same result occurred. How can I take a photo and put it here with its original/still good quality? I'm sure this is an easy fix and I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but thanks to any of those who lend a hand.

You need to upload them somewhere else like flickr or imgur

Nah, don't be embarassed. This is an extremely old forum (think late 90s) that runs on legacy code, and the shiny new photo uploader used Flash. Except Flash isn't shiny or new or even existent anymore, so when Flash went down so did the photo uploader. Now you need to host somewhere third party and insert the photos with bbcode links that way.

Check this link, specifically #7.3 still applies. You can even reply to that thread to confirm, and edit your reply there as needed until you get it right. No one will hassle you if you edit your posts 87 times there - we get it. Everyone had to do this for the first time at some point.... https://www.uer.ca...d=1&threadid=60002
