Not sure how... but this place looks incredible. Take some good pics if you can manage it! the scenery and buildings themselves look really gorgeous.

It looks like the place those guys on that one youtube channel camped on once.

I've been eyeing that place for a while now, just need to find time to get up there. It's surprisingly easy to find information on, yet according to pictures and videos, still in pretty good shape. There was one YouTube video that explained one way to reach it, something about needing to of course hike or bike up to it.

I visited there in August 2022. It's in a very remote area, and down several miles of gravel roads. There is a paved road leading to the top, but I would advise against trying to drive up it - it is about a two miles walk up. Once you get there there are several really neat abandoned buildings that you can explore, and some beautiful views, however the location gets a ton of public traffic, lots of onlookers were around when I was there, and about 20 people arrived with the intent of camping out there when I visited. It is a very cool area to explore, but incredibly publicly trafficed once again. I will try to upload some photographs later, feel free to ask me anything about it.

I’ve had that place on my radar for a couple months. You can’t drive up to it since there are a few gates blocking the road. It’s a few mile walk up the road. I strongly suggest you bring some good photography equipment if you have any. It’ll be pretty annoying to carry a camera and tripod with you on the walk, but the views are incredible (especially during fall from the photos I’ve seen). The trip up to the base seems like the perfect middle ground between urban exploring and hiking, which are two things I absolutely love. I’m hoping to make a stop there around this time next year.

Sometime in the last year or two, I know a pretty seasoned explorer was up there and fell through an area that had rotted and narrowly survived. Be careful to those who do go.

I've still not gone but I guessed that could be an issue by the state of it. Kind of been keeping me from going. Yikes

i've been planning an overnight trip here for a while now. Apparently some of the buildings are super unstable nowadays, so keep us updated with pics when you come back!

Mad late to this thread BUTTT a few homies and I drove out there back in October. Pretty cool spot. If you don't have a AWD vehicle prepare for a steep hike up some switchbacks. You also gotta go a few miles down a logging road before you hit the trailhead. Seems like its a coin toss if the gates are closed or not. Other than that? sweet spot however, only 2 out of the (5 I think?) buildings are accessible. The other 3 must've had sheet metal floors or something like that. All the sheet metal has rusted away and there's nothing to stand on that ain't sketchy. I snapped a few pics if anyone wants to see them.
