Had a year worth making a YIR for finally. Few dozen spots visited, dozen or so new people met, few really sketchy and some absolutely regrettable encounters, lots of awesome compositions and scenic moments I'll never forget. Here's to a healthy 2023.
1 Mansion resto, had heat, cool smoke spot.
Windows to the World by Josh
2 Place I biked past dozens of times turned out disused with an adequate roof.
The RIverwalk by Josh
3 Another local thing I finally hopped on, glad I saw it when I did.
Pure Beef Coolers by Josh
4 Stopped here for a bit, bummed I missed this thing before the plastic sheeting came out.

Acme Arpeture by Josh
11 Better roof. Cool hike up.
Sears Sundown by Josh
12 Awesome cathedral. Loved the stonework.
Collumns & Light by Josh
13 Surreal nighttime wander. Unfortunately didn't pack camera for w/e reason. Made a friend with a local when I came back to my car.

14 Finally made it out here. Worth the drive. Wish I had maybe another hour of daylight there though.
Dying Light by Josh
15 Cool place, great architecture. Thankfully not more decayed than it is.
Pipes & Shadows by Josh
16 The contents here surprised me. Very unique.
Riley Gang by Josh

Yeaaah prolly shoulda put more pics in for each place and added a caveat on those inconspicuous shots saying I wasn't gonna be dropping heaters for those ones lol. Reading everyone else's YIRs gives me much more ideas on how to do better.

These are awesome! 28 is definitely my favorite, I love the wooden decay and overgrown stained glass. It gives me major urban fantasy/ post apocalypse fantasy vibes.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.
