Parchment Pt. 3 | Pulp & Paper Rooms

The longest stretch of the paper mill was of the paper rolling rooms. These huge spaces were a block long and both floors stood at over 16' tall.

This factory was still a maze, there was so much to uncover in every nook of this expansive building.

This room was an electrical room, for authorized workers only

Here's another look at the basements, this one has stalactites that formed from the calcium in the cement combined with water

One of the big rooms was in the center of the complex, this space was completely silent and somewhat eerie

I took many photos of these intricate steam pipes that lined the side of the gaping machine pits

I can only assume this was an office, or a lab. The room actually had lead paint, you can tell by the peeling pattern

A room once filled with cabinets and files, now completely rusted out by a blaze

Here's a shot of the utility line between the machinery and the wall

This was the only major machine that seemed to be fully intact

The third floor housed the locker room and some data storage space, I think it was some software

The extremely steep staircase lead out to this rooftop spot, giving a nice view of the whole facility
