~ Sometimes It Takes Some Time ~

Dreams... sometimes they can take some time... like in this case 12 years, 6 months and 15 days. Yeah, back then I did find this awesome house from the countryside but sadly it was locked leaving me wonder would I ever see more?

At this autumn I did see first photos from someone else from there, and now it obviously were open! So there it was as soon as possible. Looks like it will probably be demolished soon, so I feel even more happy that I did still get to see it from inside too.

Almost like a birthday present. No need to mention that I get 46 years at 26th of November. Strange but true.

But here we go. First one is from that first visit, others from this autumn.

Getting Older:

12 Years Later:

Autumn's Grief:

Short Days of Chaos:

Untouched by Time:

Remember (amazing internet! I were able to find some information about owner of this shelf. She were born at 1888 and later lived in Sakkola, village of Valkjärvi which were in lost Karelia. That village were evacuated while Second World War at beginning of June 1944. Most people from that village were moved to this area where this house is. She did live here 7 years before her death at 1951)):

Last Days of Sadness and Sorrow:

End of The Story:

Cold Wind Over The Fields:

Passing Away:

Stare Into Emptiness:

Nothing More (Emptiness):

Leaving, Staying, Forever:

------

And this weekend's off-topic-bonus-shot comes from last saturday, from small pond in the forest. Yeah, it's already getting cold here. Yeah, whole pond were frozen. Here is some details of ice, abstract shit rules again!

That's all! Trying to get rid off this flu so... CHEERS!

Hey Wolf !

Crazy what degradation occurs over span of 12 years

So interesting that you found out info of shelf owner...again, I always enjoy your take on abandonments...This is such an unusual house design, kind of part barn with wings to me....I like it !

You share same birthday as my hubby

Wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! CHEERS to you my friend

Yeah, and it's also so damned strange how fast years flow by even at this age! I still remember very well - and my memory is REALLY bad, can't really remember what did happen yesterday and so - how I did photograph it back then.

Wow, happy birthday to your hubby then! Excellent day chosen!!! I'll take my next absinthe shot for both of you and next whisky shot for your hubby only! Have fun!
