It Was Always Chernobyl

Hello UER Community!

Just a quick tidbit before we start, this is the last exploration the Warriors did collectively as friends. Years ago a handful of us "weekend" explorers banded together and created an urbex group. Unfortunately, as time went on, our relations soured. After this final trip, we said our goodbyes and parted ways for good.

I will continue my urbex adventure solo and will attempt to share as much as I can along the way.

Now, onto the good stuff. My fascination with urbex stemmed from one place. Ever since I was a kid, I was obsessed with Chernobyl. It was always Chernobyl.

Ukraine is a beautiful country and during my time running amok there, I got a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I have a stockpile of photos, so hopefully, this set will suffice for now. Maybe in the future, I'll make a part 2...

Please enjoy this journey into the exclusion zone. Comment at your heart's desire! I love feedback from the community and will do my best to respond quickly.

These were all originally very large HD pictures. I just cannot figure out how to resize photos properly. I apologize for uploading them so small.

Thank you for taking a look.

Nice pics !

Is # 19 in the cooling tower?

Fascinates me...this whole place and its story...and how each person's take on the place via photos slowly degrade over time.

Definitely one of the worlds' best UE places

Thanks for sharing

Yes, I really wish I had a drone or something so I could have gotten a shot looking down.

It truly does have a surreal feeling when you're there.

Happy to share.

Thank you.

Hopefully, someday soon, the war in Ukraine will end. Then you'll be able to go experience it for yourself. Chernobyl is unrivaled, but the rest of the country has many interesting other places too.
