Hidden in the middle of a very much active hospital fairly local to me, is a large abandoned nurse's accommodation block. I was first tipped off that it was there by a friend of mine who transferred there for work earlier this year, and finally found the time to go have a look recently. We arrived early enough to get in whilst the rest of the hospital was still quiet, before many of the staff had arrived for work. Getting in was pretty blatant but went without a hitch, and soon we found ourselves somewhere I'd never seen before. It was obvious that local kids had been in at some point but the damage was pretty minimal really, and it did have some very nice decay in areas. There was a second building joined to this one which was also derelict, however the connecting corridor was frustratingly sealed on the inside, so we couldn't get into that particular area. 1

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time. Z.B.S. Halevi -- Kabbalah |
