A while back I explored https://www.uer.ca...urrpage=1&pp#post0 It was an old die forge abandoned in 2018. Someone took the property and turned into a chop shop, and now it's full of machines and parts. Some electrical station, I'm not sure what it's for
This was the tool shed, there was also a room for showering, washing and eating. The area was very greasy and smelled like tar
The second floor was more empty, but it had this shelf with these wooden objects
One of the windows was broken and gave you a good view of the front lot
One of the machines I mentioned earlier
This was pretty cool, looks like the tread of one of their vehicles all rolled up. The whole area here used to be clear
The main hall was filled with dirt, and it wasn't in a pile like it used to be. There were more machines added to the mess here too
A big fan that mysteriously appeared on site
Here's a view of the main hall from above, this room is massive. See the crane says 'Northern' that's a Detroit company that gantry cranes
This odd contraption was attached to the boiler building
The spot I climbed up was this newer cooling tower built next to the boiler building, it had some precariously placed step ladders at the top for anyone daring to climb that gap
Here's the view, a lot of those sheds were accessible from inside, but lacked content
I actually found an odd, tiny, hidden doorway into the boiler building
This was definitely one of the best buildings in this complex
I ended up taking home a 2" diameter nut from this place, it was covered in a ton of grease though.
