Hidden in plain sight

I went to visit my friend in Pennsylvania and while there we went searching for buildings that I found on satellite. On the way to one location I saw this motel on the main road right at the edge of a town. It looked pretty empty and I found an article saying apparently the owner had passed in 2001 succeeded by his son who owned a duplicate of the motel right down the road, so they decided to stop running this one.

The next day we were driving through again and there were no signs so we just decided to try the first room door and to our surprise it just opened.

Being from the west coast I was instantly surprised by how untouched it seemed, and as we kept going almost every door seemed to be unlocked as well.

Some of the rooms seemed to be just used as hangout spots or storage, but most of the beds were made.

The main office/house was open too and some rooms of it seemed ravaged while others seemed untouched, all with an aroma of cat pee in the air.

Even the basement was intact or at least how much it can be after running for 60 years.

Thanks for lookin! and this is my first post too so plz let me know of anything I could do better

What a lucky find! Time-capsule condition, yet with such easy access. I get such an eerie vibe from that shot of the bathroom.

That bathroom reminds me of the bathroom in my house. It has the same tiles. House was built in the 1920s, bathroom may have been renovated since then.
