Been dabbling in UE a few times and really enjoy it. Something about the history and calmness of abandoned places that keep me going back. A couple friends and I found this place driving some local backroads. Huge old factory in really rough shape but still had almost everything like one day after the employees went home from work they got a call to not come back. Had homeless previously living in it and got hit by a lot of graffiti and vandalism before it became to hazardous for regular visits. I didn’t participate in any of that and neither should any of you reading this. I can’t imagine how much cooler this place would’ve been if it was preserved better. Now in its rotting rough shape, it gets very very little traffic. 4 floors tall with lots of huge drops and random drop offs to the floors below you. Outside had a few silos and a handful of huge deep concrete pond setups. Lots of gauges and switches and tech in the computer rooms and boilers and pipes running all around. It must’ve been some kind of water treatment or testing plant back in the 80-90s most likely. One friends foot went through the roof when we got up top, had to be very careful where we stepped. Amazing view from the top. We’re in more of a small town area so not much pretty lights or buildings to look at but a pretty view of the valley at night. The whole experience was my first and ultra creepy and so cool. As we left we hit the ponds to get a closer look and there was a concrete pillar in the middle of the big pond with no bridges or anything leading to it and there was a goat standing on it just staring at us silent. We had already been at the ponds for 10 minutes and it hadn’t make a single sound. Was pretty rad abs spooky seeing that just as we leave.

Nice first post. Except for the thumbnail-sized pics. If you find the 100 KB upload limit a pain (and who doesn't?) upload your pics to a hosting site like imgur or flickr or whatnot and use the [img] tag to embed them in your post. Details here. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the site.

I see thank you! I haven’t used any 3rd party apps like that before. I’ll have to look into them! I was just going off my iPhone today
