Explored an abandoned silver mine. Very fun exploration. There were three different adits that were accessible. Saw a couple small bats on the second level.

Really like the winze shot! Makes me want to grab my ropes and see what was to be found. Is this a well traveled mine, or more obscure? A drop like that tends to keep a lot of explorers from going down. Many of the best explores get started with a rappel.

Thank you! I would say it’s in the middle of being traveled and obscure. It’s a pretty steep climb to get to the top two adits, but not that far. That’s awesome! You’re right on with that! I’ve only rappelled once down an abandoned mine. I have some climbing gear, and can rappel but have no idea how to ascend and anchor once inside the abandoned mines!
