I had often admired this villa from the late 60's or early 70's. Standing outside town it had been bought by a construction company and was set to make way for new blocks of flats. The project was standing still, and so was the villa.
The number of garages is so huge because the villa once housed the first car rental business in town.
The place was pretty tightly closed, but there was a way in. Inside there was mainly emptiness and darkness.

I returned to the villa around a year later. Not much has changed in the pool room.
The stairs had been demolished but someone had piled furniture downstairs and punched holes in a wall so that I could climb upstairs for the first time.
Someone had walked through the building writing all kinds of messages on the walls. I found them quite fascinating.
The writers even had started communicating with each other.
The bathroom had once featured a bath with a view. Now it was pretty much destroyed.
This one was one of my favorites. The person who wrote these had a great sense of humor, although I disapprove vandalism.
This one is especially close to my heart. My adventures really are different.

One final visit to the villa before it was finally torn down.
1. The pool looks a bit different now.

7. Even more of the tub has vanished.
8. A previously undiscovered room in the garage wing.
