I just went on my first ever urban exploration trip, and I had a great time! Two of my friends and I have a free block in the middle of the school day, and we usually go out to get food during it, but right across the street from our favorite café there is an abandoned restaurant. I had been wanting to visit it for a while, but was too nervous to go alone, so after talking with my friends, we agreed to plan a trip out.
One of my friends was too scared to go in, so she stayed in the car, on the phone with me, so she could still participate without having to be afraid. I took pictures on my phone, since I don't have a good camera yet, so the photos are really low quality, especially in dark areas. Here are some pictures from our trip:
This is part of what once must have been a beautiful dining room, with a nice view.
Here's another view of the dining room, which seems to have been vandalized by whoever was there before us.
Several of the windows, including the front door here, seem to have some kind of dried up fluid on them...
This was where we realized that we weren't prepared enough for this, so we returned home and got better flashlights and masks so we could explore the dark kitchen.
After we returned, we walked through what seemed to be an office and preparatory area on our way back to the kitchen.
We also found a first-aid kit on the ground that must have been looted.
Finally, we arrived back in the kitchen. This is where the image quality starts getting really bad!!
Here, we found some trash cans full of shredded documents.

Then, we realized there was a second floor!!!
We went upstairs, and right at the top landing, found this cool photograph that got left behind.
By this point, we realized that we didn't have enough time to explore the whole upstairs and had to go back to school. Fortunately, we weren't late to class and everything worked out wonderfully! I definitely hope we get to go back and see the whole upper floor, maybe my other friend will even come in from the car! 
I'm hoping for many cool future exploration trips!!!

First explores are always really exciting, love the write-up! Looks like a comfy place, looking through that window in #1 on an overcast day.
