My friend, who has visited this place 2 times already did ask: would you be interested..? HELL YEAH!!! Long drive, and long walk in knee high snow, but definitely worth it. Pretty huge tunnel system, which - as far as I know - were created for military use, to do planes or keep them safe, I'm not 100% sure. Anyway after finishing it, they did notice that rock were too unstable so it never were used. Sad that scale doesn't come out too well from these photos, those tunnels really were quite BIG and parts of them were completely dark. Sadly my friend ain't so much in photographing and like I said, this was his 3 trip to there, so I did try to be fast. I definitely wish that I one day can return with MORE TIME and BETTER FLASHLIGHT! I easily could spend whole day there... P. S. Tomorrow I will come to answer comments to my former posts. Been way too busy lately and forget it completely. Sorry for answering have taken so long...

Love this! Great example of a location that is probably a lot more interesting to shoot in the winter than the summer months.

You definitely nailed it. Only bad thing is that now I'm wondering how surreal it would look at the end of winter... must really thing would I be able to take risk with my car...

Yeah, guess what it is to dude who's hands and foots are freezing all the time, no matter how warm it is. Even now, slightly drunk at home, probably +23 or so, foots and hands are dead cold. But maybe everything which is fun has it's price..? Thank you very much, and CHEERS!

Sorry late to the party, but better late than never i suppose Love, Love Bye, Bye Sunlight. Those long ice cycles hanging there are just too cool....and had to laugh at the B&W They Watch and Wait, lol, like little ice people seeking sunlight. Another beautiful shot to end with but too darn cold for even a camera to function Eeeeuuuu!
