Some photos from earlier this year, a heavily graffitied gold mill that I'm uncertain the history of. This was during the months when the air was so thick with smoke from the forest fires that it was hard to even breathe. The sun was blotted out, making the sky this ugly pale shade of grey. Exteriors become difficult and editing couldn't seem to fix it. we hung out with a hobo on acid on the inside and eventually two other explorers showed up. The foot traffic had attracted the cops, who simply watched us leave and I drove home coughing so hard I could barely drive.

Nice stuff!
When there is tranquility, you are in the right place. When there are no footprints, you are on the right path. When there are no tire tracks, you are on the right road.
Nice shots. I've got a couple of friends who are often describable as hobos on acid. Sounds like a really good time!

Nice shots! I know you said that the smoke made exterior shots difficult but I like the ones you posted, the haze gives them a vintage photograph look.
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.
Thanks everyone! I'm glad to hear the exterior came out. I thought the building itself was absolutely gorgeous but the smokey skies that summer were some of the ugliest backdrops I'd ever seen. I kept trying to edit over and over until I realized that the sky was just nasty in the first place and nothing could change that haha.

some good ones here!!
Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time. Z.B.S. Halevi -- Kabbalah |
