These pics made my day! Lovely decay. These old hospitals are getting so rare. Many are gone, or very hard to get into, so i appreciate your efforts and thank you for posting!

This place is one of the few that I will forever kick myself for not making the effort to do.

Nice shots. How far did the tunnels go (if you ventured down them) ?

nice shots, #4 is an absolute classic, I can remember taking that same shot like 15 years ago back when you could walk the kirk end to end on every floor. Always nice to see this place posted here

Great shots! Those floors are scary.

Great shots and looks like it was a fun place to visit. It's always nice to see intact stained glass within an abandonment. It's nice to see glass of any type intact in an abandonment for that matter. Abandoned hospitals and massive stately buildings like this one are the types of places that California, for the most part, positively lacks.

I was able to get into some of the back buildings in 2019 but there were construction workers with heavy equipment everywhere, making it too difficult to sneak into the front area. I was disappointed but still saw some interesting parts of the campus. That said, I think your photos came out better than mine did. When were these taken? I’ll try to dig up some of mine- I don’t think I ever shared them on here. I found some of the tunnels too but the ones I came across had mostly caved in (not including one tunnel entrance that looked a little too dubious for my taste and I chickened out, lol). Thank you for sharing your photos with us, they really do a great job capturing the essence of the place.
*Someone mentioned the floors in an earlier comment. Many of these buildings have the worst floors I’ve come across in a long time. Some areas’ floors are reinforced and/or less decayed, while other sections are almost completely rotted but visually doesn’t look as bad as they really are. It was hard for me to tell which was which. A few of the buildings have lost entire rooms to gravity. You definitely need to pay careful attention to where you step around here. At least a couple of the tunnels I mentioned earlier have had recent caved-ins of the floors directly above them.
