Is there a forum or somewhere you can post explorers or photographers that claim to be urban explorers but instead graff and vandalize spots?

ive seen a similar graff tagging in alot of the spots ive explored , did research and turns out to be a Photo/ explorer that psuedo himself as a graffiti artist but doesnt do street work, only abandoned spots wich to me in my opinion isnt really graffiti, hes just tagging in abandoned locations.

Seems like a good thread for the UER "Other" forum. I'd love to see graffing jack-wagons exposed!! Not sure what the mods would have to say about calling someone out by name though. Following!

not personal info but media accounts, like it would be great if there was some protocol, i know not every location cant be protected or saved, but at the same time the actions of these individuals is what lead to most of the spots being boarded or demolished cause of unsavory activity, aswell as they blatantly just destroy once spot after another with no remorse, like duddee.

Who cares? Just because somebody does it differently doesn't mean you have to interfere. Graf kids definitely fall under the umbrella of explorers as well, that term doesn't only mean nerdy kids with cameras. It's not your building, it's not your problem. All you can do is get there before them and proactively seal the place if you really think it will make any difference.

I agree there's not really much to do, other than deny this person full membership on UER. Post away, but I'd recommend doing it in a private forum like Other.

well that's my conclusion I'm coming to, not much I can do personally but if there was like a wall of shame or something, I know there's already certain member banned for trolling here on UER, i was just wondering where we could denounce certain explorers for there actions, doesn't have to be about graffiti, it could range from the idiots that start fires for fun to throwing stuff off buildings, youtubers vandalizing spots etc. thought about it this last night and I can see how this can get out of hand an easily abused, so unless the mods handling it or approve of it I don't think it should be done, just thought I should mention or open up a discussion about it.

There’s really no point. Not sure how long you’ve been exploring, but there’s literally nothing you can do to keep an abandoned building from being vandalized. If people want to get in and destroy stuff, they will. Some of us on here have seen it happening for years and years. No matter how quiet you try to keep a place, unless it’s on active property or something, it’s going to happen no matter what. And even then it still can.

Look at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. It sits like 18 miles away from the nearest road and was still graffitied. A 35km hike. If people wanna tag stuff, they will.

Yea unfortunately. Same with the Sno Cats in Belgium I think. So don’t waste your time tbh. Just cause someone is called out, they aren’t going to stop. If they were worried about it, they wouldn’t tag to begin with.

I'm all for doing that, but in the name of shitposting, not calling someone out.
