The years have been hard on this place. I drove by a little while back and saw all the windows were boarded up. It made me wonder what it was like inside. The easy answer is that it was dark, almost pitch black. That made for a hard environment to shoot in and on top of it that, I forgot to bring extra batteries for my flashlight which was run down and shutting off periodically. I let myself get in pretty deep without thinking about how much trouble I would be in if it stopped working altogether. The funny part is, I was in the morgue last and that was the only place my flashlight worked fine (sorry, not a ghost story, just saying). 1. I expected to find light in the lobby. It was disappointing finding out they boarded up the skylights

Sweet shots! I haven't seen a set from here in years. I know SO MANY people who were arrested here both local friends and from UER so I never bothered with it but holy cow this place is looking really rough now.

People have told me to stay away from here. Glad you made it in and out alright

#18 is a great shot, also the morgue is sick.

|
#15 is real ominous.

These are very good for such low light, the one in VA was (is) just like this, saw all those white boards and thought this is gonna be tough, but when the little light you have works the results are fantastic

Thanks! I will say that caution is definitely warranted though. There's a lot of exposure and unless you have a really good idea how you're getting in, its easy to get cornered. The other side of it is, beside the morgue, the place isn't all that worth seeing these days. I only went because my hard drive broke and I lost all my old pictures from this spot and it became like a personal vendetta to come back and shoot it again. But it was also really cool just on its own to see how much its changed.

Nice set! Haven't seen this place pop up for a long time, glad to know it's still around.

This dump is still around, but the likes of Westborough have been torn down. What is life.

Well believe it or not, back in 2010 Candycorn used to sparkle, even had that fresh detergent and death smell you find in an active hospital. Parts of Westboro were like that too back then. By 2017, the whole place was trashed. The reason Candycorn is still standing is it has a smaller foot print in a town with less development pressure. That's life.

I did the place in 2009, while it’s not as dumpy as it is now it was still boring. At least in the deteriorated parts of Westboro it had character.

I live about 7 mins from Candy Corn. It always comes across as the least interesting abandoned place I see in photos. #19 is cool tho.
