There are about four currently active urban explorers in Korea who are prolific enough to be of note. One of them is giving a lecture on Tuesday, Aug. 10. He's a UER member but doesn't use the site much. He's going to give a talk on Zoom next week that's open to anyone for free (donations are appreciated but not mandatory). It's Tuesday at 8:30 pm Korea time, which would be Tuesday 7:30am in New York (so calculate accordingly). Anyone up that late, feel free to drop in. I figure he's going to try to define urban exploration for a vaguely familiar audience, and then share some of his very interesting experiences, then have a Q&A. It's hosted by the Royal Asiatic Society's Korea branch, which is the world's oldest Korean studies organisation and is also crawling with urban explorers. I'm a council member and may have helped arrange this lecture. It would be cool to see explorers from other parts of the world show up. More information about the event here: http://raskb.com/e...ban-redevelopment/ And you can see some of his contributions here: https://longdistancerunner.org

A bit late to be thanking you but better late then never! Thank you so much for sharing this! The zoom lecture was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Ryan did a great job and really gives a unique perspective on his surroundings! For all of you that missed it I can only hope that it will be done again! Once again thank you!
