Following a quick dip into Carver's Cave -- and yes, I may have almost fallen into the water -- we made our way to Hamm's Brewery. There is not much to say about this site, it's a beautiful brick building that is still laden with old machinery. However, in recent years, the entire complex has seen redevelopment in certain portions. Much of the site still remains abandoned though.

Keep in mind that there is a direct correlation between spots gtting posted on UER/internet in general and them getting sealed/trashed. Especially in the Twin Cities. I recently saw some kids get busted there by the police, they swarmed the hollow with dogs and flashlights. Did not look fun.
With a smile and a hint of sarcasm he said "I beg your pardon, but this is my secret garden!" |

It's open again? Huh, good to know if I make my way up there sometime soon. I never got the chance to be in the cities while it was open prior.
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. |

Drinking a Hamm's in Hamm's was one of my favorite bucket list goals to check off. Even got a Hamm's Bear tattoo to pay tribute!

Man you beat me to it I even had a case of beer to drink with a buddy of mine to drink on the roof, only to discover the entrance had been sealed. Love hearing about those little joys that make exploring just even more special, thanks for sharing.

First, thanks But yeah it's still in great shape, and some of the old buildings on the Hamm's campus are actually being restored and reused as newer breweries. Cool to see some of that history being preserved rather than just becoming some shitty apartments.
