As a former landlord, I can tell you that this is not unique. Took me 2 years + to fix my house before I could sell it, thanks to how the tenant trashed it.

I've never personally rented property but have heard horror stories from friends. One told me they walked around with a hammer and put at least one hole in every wall and poured quikrete in all the toilets and drains.
Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated. |
