The reason I got into urban exploring, was graffiti spotting. Which lead me to this abandoned building some years ago. Things have changed since I've gotten into this locked-tight factory. Here are the original photos from the first trip: https://www.uer.ca...urrpage=1&pp#post0.

Non hazardous waste

Not a big fan of the entryway, it was covered in rust dust, just disgusting

Yet another unusual machine

That is some scummy water collected from the roof

The biggest machine in the facility

Designed & built for Michner Plating Co.

You gotta wear masks to avoid disturbing particles

Rubber belt storage room, for the large motor that moved the line of hooks

These cage fans are all over the place, saw about 10 of them at least

The skylight room. Where the machines probably used to be lined up

The boiler seems to have boxes of "white stuff" still have no clue what it is

Here you can see some of the damage that has been dealt to the roof

These metal hooks in bags, stacked neatly

Caustic soda is a solid chemical that is pretty harmful if ingested

The good ol' metal shelf under a leaky roof

The factory offices, looted

Near the front, the roof caved in, due to weathering, or a fire, and the fact that these were older roofs that hadn't been replaced in a long time

Just around the corner is the owner's office. Joe died in 2013 at 71.

M&L plating dissolved some time in the 80s

The president's desk had some neat windows looking out into the facility, the offices are 2 stories, in a one story building

Old tapes and photos, also found the fire proof building certificate smashed on the ground

These are some old data tapes, floppy disks and some documents

Anyone who thinks they know what happened here tell me. It's just befuddling.

This place is pretty cool. I'm surprised at how little graffiti there is inside. Thanks for sharing.

I think I found out why the roof caved in recently. It might've been due to a wave of new heat and rain that swept in, cracking the concrete in the roofing, which fell and pulled down some of the steel beams making two large holes. This was secluded to the older parts of the complex.
