Great to see the site still up and running. Its getting harder and hard to find things of interest up here in the North East that hasn't been seen a 1000x times. Here's a few things I have found over the last year or so plus a few classics. Mostly Ma shots, then some NH/VT/NY. Divided by Damien, on Flickr Not cleared for landing. by Damien, on Flickr

Yeah, can you tell us more about a "view well earned"?

Its actually very easy to get info on that location. I wont give the location obviously but with a few key words on google it can be found pretty easily. They did a bit to lock out the access roads with the obvious road blocked and a neighbor who calls the cops if he sees you leave your car there. So I had to take an extremely long, off road way up, just to find out there is a different open road than the old one lol. Hence the Earned View title. But it was a great time and a cool explore just to see the abandonment on top of a mountain like that. 100% Recommend you go. What's left of the buildings isn't super special but as a whole its great and a great drive/trip over all. Place was somewhat busy. It does require a 4x4 truck as some of the spots you drive over can not be done in a car(not the one pictured below). If you want to walk its a very long walk up the mountain. I think I calculated it to be about 15 miles and iirc that's from the first blocked gate. All up a very steep hill. Also it is def a massive fall hazard there, If I can find the Go Pro footage ill post that too. Its rusted and rotted through badly in almost all areas that offer that view. Gear should be worn. I think some one died there a few years back so if you go be safe watch where you walk. Also stopped by these locations too on the way. Down stream of Livermore Falls by Damien, on Flickr Frankenstein's bridge by Damien, on Flickr The rest of these are the throw aways and cell phone shots on my flickr photo dump page. The sun was pretty harsh up there at that time of day. other view low res by damien look out, on Flickr joey dont jump low res by damien look out, on Flickr inside low res by damien look out, on Flickr big view low res by damien look out, on Flickr 119446582_3320698671352426_4809880410077337012_n by damien look out, on Flickr 119079844_3320698328019127_8772891800382114545_n by damien look out, on Flickr 119071571_3320698808019079_8822880656501778669_n by damien look out, on Flickr 119073410_3320698738019086_1366775930609988192_n by damien look out, on Flickr

Real nice shots! My favorites are: Divided, The Room, Stranded, and Lost. I especially love the jerry rigged gas tank strapped to that Beetle lol.
