In Hamtramck, near Factory Zero and the detention center and recycling center, is a medium sized abandoned foundry in a triangular nook. The entire area where the old roads were is fenced off today, but you can easily get in. Inmates can shout through the windows too, making it surreal.
This building is called the Missant building, but was called Swedish Crucible before it switched hands.
This is a pretty cool way they arrange pipes

The foundry halls, 2 floors tall. I had to climb through a cinder block wall to get in the factory, instead of just walking around

Further behind the shelf room was some electrical room with locker-breakers and wire conduits
The loading bay fell in a fire, some other parts of the building were affected in that area too
There wasn't much of a second floor to take pictures of, plus I was standing on old bits of wood tiles supported by steel beams
That's pole is part of the old elevator, in the part of the building that burnt up.
A collapsing room on the roof
This disguised roof part might've had some water tank or some other gravitational storage, those tubes go somewhere
The newer half of the building with saw tooth roofs and a small cooling tower
This is entry anarchy, you can find a nice-looking Haels graffiti piece in that room

Sounds surreal! I like the last photo looking up through the ladder, gives a cool perspective that makes you feel like your there.

Yeah they do because they bored, only if they notice you. They'll just yell some stupid stuff.
