This was a small 11 acre amusement park with a wild west theme. It opened in 1959 and closed in 1990. The last standing buildings were leveled in 1997, and about half the park was paved over to make way for some popular corporate chain type businesses. While little remains, it was still fun to explore accompanied with an original park brochure and map found on the internet. The coolest parts of the explore was the remains of a faux gold mine exhibit with 3 connecting adits that tunnels into the sandstone cliff face bordering the property. The last 4 pics (18-21) were some abandoned attraction decorations/props for an exhibit that was on the neighboring property. That property has tons of really cool stuff in the woods, including some disassembled rides, but it also still has an active attraction and had LOTS of eyes and warning/trespassing signs. The signs made my partner nervous, and I wasn't really dressed for stealth. Perhaps another time..... 1.
