Abandoned Church and School

Found this place a year ago and didn't have my camera. Was in the area again still with no camera, but poked around and got some phone pics. Seems to have gotten a decent bit of vandalization since then sadly.

The site consisted of 2 schools and churches, a small and large one of each. The larger side also has a large gym. I only spent about 10 minutes quickly walking through the place, but there were no obvious entrances to the large side that I saw. If I ever make it back with my camera before it gets developed then I'll find a way into the big part.

1. Walked in to see some horrible graffiti and power on. A mix I've never seen

2.

3. The smaller chapel. Doing my best to hide all the graffiti. The big one looked to be 3 times the size.

4.

5. Interesting light fixtures.

6.

7. In the smaller school connected to the small chapel. The top floor was apparently the children's division

8.

9.

10.

11. Children's division cafeteria

12. Pristine

13.

Thanks for looking

Nice work, rp! Gotta love 3, 5, 7, and 10 but a sweet set in general. Those ceiling fans in 5 look pretty cool, as do the light fixtures.
Thanks for sharing, good luck getting into the larger area next time!

That bathroom could be in my school and I would never pay any attention to it. Nice job!

Good find! I like the photo series.
Enough degradation and mess to show abandonment, but next to no discernible vandalism or graffiti.
