Just a couple of shots from a hospital visit I did back in January. Not much was taken unfortunately because I was helping out another explorer with an injury.

I'd recognize those GE prefab kitchen buttons anywhere. Did you see any other buildings on the campus? Hope your buddy was OK.

No , unfortunately, this was the only building I actually got to see. I plan on going back at some point once the area cools down, I heard it got a little hot there like most popular spots.

That's a shame, I haven't heard anything about it getting hot, but I also last went in 2018. Definitely try to get back, there's still things to see. The surgery building on the other side of the road was by far my favorite place there, but I've got a soft spot for the one you were in too, gutted cinderblocks be damned. Still some cool atomic and jet-age equipment and architecture left in the place, as you saw. There's at least two of those GE kitchens in there, one yellow and one blue. They unfortunately made a lot of progress abating and gutting several of the buildings in 2017/2018, the therapy building with the famous bowling alley is gone now and several of the other south campus buildings are just empty shells. IIRC the surgery and other north buildings are across the town line so Our Benefactors across the river can't mess with them yet.

There are some houses on the property as well (not sure if you knew that) that my other friends got to but I wasn't able to, I guess it was nurse's quarters or something like that. It's a bit of a hike in the woods (The bridge is out). I'm sure there's an easier way but of course, I haven't been back since then. I definitely want to go back and now will be searching for the blue kitchen.

Oh yeah I've been to the campus thirteen times, I've seen every building there, some more interesting than others. There was a whole vacant neighborhood behind the northmost building that looked like it was being prepped for demolition, don't know how far they've gotten with it. We only visited a few of the houses there, IIRC most were cookie cutter copies of each other and the interiors were all trashed by hooligans. Did you find any of the bats living in that building?

I did not actually. I'll have to keep my eyes open for them so I don't disturb them and proceed to poop my pants when they go flying at me 😂. Apparently they didn't get very far with the houses but you're right from what I saw in pictures they were pretty trashed.

All of the bats we encountered were docile and stayed at home on the walls, maybe because it was daytime. We didn't bother them of course, that photo was shot with a telescopic lens to avoid getting even remotely close enough to both the bat. The houses were pretty trashed in 2018, I imagine they're even worse now.
Also if I haven't said it yet, the coloring and lighting in your photos is great.

Speak for yourself, I patted one on the head. he didn't seem to mind.
I come and go like a comet; we are wanderers. Reports of our eradication have been somewhat exaggerated. | |

Yeah, they definitely were pretty badly hit from what I was told and not worth the hike but I still might try it (the easier way of course lol) before the ticks come out to play. I appreciate the compliments on my photos!
