Looks cool. How extensive are those underground tunnels?

Hey! I was just here like two months ago! Was planning on making a thread but seems like you beat me to it :p

I knew that there were underground tunnels here from this post on the database when someone came in and dug a hole to access them, but I thought that had been filled back in! Had no idea there were still any access points down to the lower levels; guess I just didn't look hard enough lol

Great set! The pump house looks really cool, I tried to make it there on my trip but had to turn back cause I was running out of daylight. You've definitely convinced me I need to go back soon and find those spots I missed!

Since I'm at it, here's a couple pics from my visit (:

Thanks so much for the post, I didn't see that, I have an idea on how to get into the reactor room but I had given up on the tunnels, but seeing this I may try again eventually. I would definitely recommend going back for the pumphouse, its tiny but very easy to get to and pretty cool.

I remember doing a bunch of research with friends on this place years ago. Had a ton of PDF files somewhere for the Georgia Nuclear Aircraft Laboratory. Ga State and UGA had some good archival footage of it's construction and later the remediation plans. I remember a guy here years ago now called himself Ammoclip who had dug out various access points to the tunnels and got down there with an inflatable raft. If I'm correct there was even an old jeep stuck in a tunnel down there somewhere. Memories.

Id love to get down into the tunnels sometime, and yeah I saw A bunch of photos and videos of someone rafting in the tunnels, right now I'm working on entering the reactor.

Nice work!! This place has always been very interesting. Did you lose cell service back there?

I use T-Mobile and it comes and goes in seemingly random places (mostly I had none), though I met another explorer there who said he had service almost the whole time. Are you wondering if droning is possible?

No, I just remember last time I had basically no service when I went to check it out.
