We are about to start a pretty extensive exploration of the Trinity and all its historic structures from Dallas down to Scurry. Mostly the Lock and Dam system from the 1910s and any abandoned industrial buildings within reasonable trekking distance. We are also acquiring a small boat to access areas that are land locked. Scouted Joppa already and have created a pretty extensive Google Map with destination points. Entry/Exit points have not been scouted or verified. If you are interested in real Dallas history and why Dallas even exists, follow along or get involved. You can find me on FB under "Mike Lee" in either of the DFW URBEX groups. These are history/adventure quests, not B/E, Trespass or tagging/photog specific treks.

you should explore The Great Trinity Forest preserve. Theres no typical uer type locations such as bandos and/or drains but if you love nature and native American history you can spend several days hiking around the thousands of acres, plenty of trails so you dont have to bushwhack it all the time.

Besides some Caddo mounds there is a place officially recognized by teh Comanche Nation near Devon Park. I found it very cool to walk the same paths and see some of the areas the indians lived, way cooler than someone's house or power plant everyone has tagged to death

I'd be down if we had a large group, police friends have been telling me about some pretty sketchy things happening down in the Trinity. Shanty drug dens and labs have been found by DPD....a lot of feral dogs. Other than that there's some pretty incredible stuff hidden away back in there.
