anybody know much about st patrick's alexandra school in halifax? anyone been inside?
my friend who lives nearby has been telling me about it and how she's interested in checking it out. i'm quite interested because apparently a woman's body was found at the school while it was still active (not because i believe in ghosts or anything silly like that, just because it's an interesting bit of lore). also just because empty schools are cool.

We've been watching it for years. It has power (so likely alarms) and is regularly monitored by private security guards.

Apparently thats an unsolved crime, any info that leads to an arrest has a 150,000$ dollar reward. I've Often thought about trying to explore that school. Ive never found anyone who wanted to come with though. Often school roof access doors are left unlocked. That school sure is boarded up tight though along with the metal bars. Definitely a night expedition.

lol okay update, months ago (forgot to post about it, sorry) my friends bugged me to go inside with them and i did, got in though an unlocked door with the glass panel broke. only went a little bit inside and to the second floor before we heard a noise and bounced, from what i saw it's completely barren and i saw nothing but a dead pigeon. seems to be just a boring little building that people squat in sometimes, not really worth checking out

Yeah, it's got squatters. They're usually the ones breaking the windows. The security guards report the broken windows and they get fixed, squatters break a new one. Repeat forever.
You're lucky to have gotten in - the windows are usually fixed up a day or two after they're found.
