1800's Train Tunnel

Went for a nice hike on a trail with unused 1800's train tracks that lead to an abandoned train tunnel, in Jo Daviess County. Water was to high to attempt going inside. However, heard from a another Urbex friend its collapsed not far inside anyway. Nature is slowly taking this one. But still neat.

Nice! Railroad tunnels are always cool, there's a 1 mile long one not far from where I grew up that you can ride a bicycle through.

I'm down there almost every year for mines and stuff and we've still never gotten around to visiting that one. Seems like the trail is always closed for hunting or something :-/
