Hope y'all are doing well....
I do urban exploring around the Denver area, including up into the mountains at times. I also do a lot of work with the activists up at the former Rocky Flats site, as well as a chemist that used to do work out at the Arsenal, so I have access to a book of Superfund sites. Not sure how many still have anything interesting on them.
I do a Youtube channel and have an Instagram. Most recent explore was an old pumphouse here in Denver itself. I've done exploring since 2003, and I have a ton of older pics floating around of the steam plant in Cheyenne, WY and the old missile base outside of Hillsdale, WY (above ground silos, so no tunnels, but it was a junkyard too so definite mad max vibes). Did Chernobyl in 2009, before it became so touristy.

All the covid stuff has had me weird about doing any meetups but I might be finally getting there. Do you do any drains/tunnels? That’s been exclusively my thing so far really but would also be interested in expanding my reach a little and checking out something above ground too.

I'm always down for a good drain explore. Maybe after things die down we could scout something out. My and the GF are going up to some ghost towns for the next few trips, but after that, we will be pretty bored. There are some drains up in Cheyenne that are pretty interesting as well if you ever take a day trip. If you want an easy above ground explore, hit me up in the messages and I can tell you where this abandoned pump house is. I used it as my GF's first explore, it's really easy to access, in Denver/Adams County, and is pretty cool for as small as it is....heads up, though, we found some jail uniforms in it a week ago when we went in. Haven't even seen any homeless people there, but sticking to it in the daytime is probably a good option (there are no signs telling you not to go in, and no one is too close to it.) Stay safe out there.

For sure, that sounds like an excellent plan as far as let it die down a little first but for sure I’m excited to meet up with someone else- I pretty much have always explored solo because it’s a little tricky finding people totally down for the weird mix of everything that makes up UE. Let me know when you hit that boredom point and we’ll set something up.

I'm a pretty big noob, but if you're ever doing a meetup (Post-COVID, my obligations keep me from doing too much right now), let me know! I'm always down for an adventure. I'm usually in/around the Springs or central CO/Salida area, but I can always drive to Denver if needed!

Howdy and welcome! I'm in the Colorado Springs area but I've been wanting to make it up to Denver to explore, if you're seeking out meetups I'd love to join you on an exploration sometime. I don't have much experience with abandoned buildings yet, but I've been really wanting to get into some. So far I've mostly done drains, which I adore, and a few "infiltration" of off-limits/ gray areas of still-inhabited buildings.
