Once home to a chiropractor, spa, and insurance agency (among other things), this office was pretty much gutted by the time I visited. The notable thing was the trees growing through the middle of the building. And this, I guess. There was an elevator between the two floors and the roof was accessible via ladder. Definitely the most suburban place I’ve visited so far. All in all, not terribly exciting, but kind of cool considering I wasn't expecting it. It's since been demolished (but it was around for much longer than I thought it would be). I had no idea it was up for that long - that's unreal for San Jose. I didn't notice it until 2018, which is when these pics are from. It's great to see the plants in their prime & everything pre-vandalism. I wish I'd taken better pics of the stairs for comparison. I have to ask, did you go inside the elevator?
