My favorites and the games that originally got me into urbex is the Stalker series for pc. Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl Stalker Clear Sky Stalker Call of Pripyat Also Metro Exodus was really good. Not exactly ubex games like uncharted but metro takes you through abandoned cities and countrysides with lots to explore and the stalker series take place inside the exclusion zone of Chernobyl.

nothing is ever lost in the age of the internet... lol. Even up to a year or so ago, I could still find replacement cars and tracks for Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit for the PC has i had lost the ZIP Drive i had with all of them on it.

I haven't been able to find it. There are hundreds of custom .wad files out there. I can't even find a reference that it ever existed. I remember having it on my Win98 desktop, but the HDD crashed and that was among the files on a backup CD that git damaged. I've managed to replace most of the missing stuff like the most of the pics of Dr. Laura and the Cass Elliot centerfold, but some things are still among the missing like the KPPC.wad and others.
In order to use your head, you have to go out of your mind. |

not really urban but firewatch has a really good storyline, lots of exploring
escape the ordinary |

Metro Series...

The ending for metro exodus (Base game haven't played the DLC yet but really should) made me so upset because I just love the atmosphere and story of all 3 games probably one of my most favorite game series ever but the ending of exodus made me almost cry from how sad it was, At least I got the good ending but I got to play the games through game pass and I got to say it was a really good choice. I been playing GTA 5/online since first release on 360 and it's fun at times but I'm just about ready for the next GTA game or a really good DLC but it's fun to go into first person and walk around the sewer or the secret mine tunnel with a flash light, just got the game on PC (thanks epic store) but I can't run it on my Surface 3 Tablet/2 in one/laptop, so I'll just be playing it on Xbox for now.

Aren't they making a new one or a remake of one? Can't remember but the games always have interested me but never got around to actually playing any of them.

well that sucks... i was always under the impression that you could find just about anything anytime once it was out in the internet ether. I guess this really proves me wrong. Sorry about that. as for the Metro Series, I read the books before I played the games... i haven't reached the end of Metro Exodus yet... been preoccupied with Division 2 and drifting career on Forza 6 and 7.

Gonna throw in Bioshock as well. Bonus points for being underwater. Judgement primarily has gritty urban locations but it does have a wild section inside an abandoned love hotel. From my experiences, it's extremely accurate.

Escape From Tarkov will give you that pit-of-the-stomach dread and adrenaline of risky active infiltration. You'll find something in raid worth a shit ton of money and then get cornered by a three man team, "oh shit oh shit oh shit!" Plus, like urbex, it's very important to not make too much noise and take a route that will avoid other people. When you're a new player it's all about sneaking around.

Mirror's Edge 1 and 2 had some nice cityscape infrastructure stuff in it Amnesia a Machine for pigs is a spooky one on PC that has a lot of industrialization and machinery and such The Submachine series is an old escape type flash game on the internet that's free and has some urbex vibes

I have thought this for a while. Adrenaline like no other game I have played in a while.

Anyone else looking forward to this maybe coming out later this year? https://store.stea...40/Urban_Explorer/

Red Dead 2 has been pretty good at satiating my fix lately, as well as PUBG as another user said. I think the Metro games were really fun, it's really only in the tunnels save for a little bit.

red dead 2 bored the stuffing out of me... just grind grind grind PUBG is ok, but at this stage of the game, there is a ton of bots filling the servers and people running hacks/cheats is really kind of out of hand...I mean the recoilless sniper Vector SMG? Yeah. I got whacked by one the other night at distance. Way too overpowered. It was pretty fun in the beginning, though.

Silent Hill from back in the day was a fuck-tarded fun game.
I cream, you cream, we all cream for .. white spooge. |

Just play Fallout: New Vegas

The nearest I could think of is a game called 7 Days to Die. Its basically exploring abandoned buildings in a zombie apocalypse. I only say its UE related because everything is abandoned with no other people around, unless of course you're in a multiplayer server.

Outlast 1 and 2.

The Long Dark is excellent, though a bit tedious if you're not interested in hours long survival. Exploration is the name of the game, and they did a great job. A little surprised it hasn't been recommended here yet!

The Long Dark is amazing! It's definitely a top 3 best games I've ever played. I can't believe I forgot to mention that one. I'm glad you brought that up because it really is all abandonments. Are you stoked to dig into the Dark Walker special event? I'm gonna rip into it today, can't wait.

I'm actually on computer now instead of xbox where I was playing it, but talking about it has made me want to get it on PC. It's a real treat they keep it updated constantly.
