Been abandoned for over 10 years. Most of the buildings were surprisingly sturdy. Local teens know about this place and come to trash it often according to a local. He saw me going in and out of buildings but didn't mind since I was just taking photos. It's pretty rural though and doesn't usually see much traffic. Had a pool, old-fashioned tent spots (the wood frame things), some club houses, cafeteria, and a vehicle with logos left behind (not pictured). I don't know interesting facts or history because it makes it too easy to find places. Someone always complains I say too much or too little and it's just easier to go with too little. Enjoy. beautiful spot! reminds me of some sort of horror movie set where a bunch of college kids would go then run into something paranormal
breathe in the atmosphere.... and the asbestos :) | |
Cool one. On all the blogs and forums I think this is the first campground explore I’ve seen.
